Now that Minecraft decided to update the day before we put up the server, what do we do now? Will it work on 1.1 or do we all have to get 1.0.0 .jars?

Well, on another server I'm on, what the admin did was download a release candidate for Minecraft servers. I don't know where he had downloaded the version for servers, but it was, indeed compatible with the newly-updated Minecraft. Though, we'd might as well wait for a final release version for servers instead.
